Terms and Conditions for Alpaca Stud Services

1. Service Agreement

By booking our alpaca stud services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms ensure the welfare of the animals and the smooth operation of the service.

2. Stud Fees

  • A 50% deposit is required in advance, with the remaining 50% due at the time of mating.
  • Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in these terms.

3. Multiple Female Discount

  • 10% discount for bookings of 2 or more female alpacas.
  • 20% discount for bookings of 5 or more female alpacas.
  • Discounts apply only to services booked simultaneously and must be paid in full at the time of booking.

4. Health Requirements

  • All female alpacas must be in good health and free from infectious diseases.
  • A veterinary health certificate may be required before the service.
  • Owners must disclose any known health issues or conditions affecting their alpacas.

5. Pregnancy Guarantee

  • We offer a live cria guarantee for up to three days post-birth. If the cria does not survive within this period, a return service will be provided at no additional cost (excluding transport fees).
  • Special circumstances for cria loss beyond three days may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

6. Service Options

  • Mobile Service: The stud male is transported to your location (mileage fees apply at £0.55 per mile).
  • Drive-By Service: The female alpaca is brought to our farm for a same-day service without an overnight stay.

7. Biosecurity

  • All visiting alpacas must comply with our biosecurity measures to prevent disease spread.
  • Drive-by services are conducted in a neutral, disinfected area to ensure the health and safety of all animals.

8. Liability

  • While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of the animals, we cannot be held responsible for any injury, illness, or loss incurred during the service.
  • Owners are advised to have appropriate insurance coverage for their alpacas.

9. Payment Terms

  • Invoices are issued upon booking and are due immediately. Late payments may result in service cancellation.
  • Additional charges may apply for repeat visits or extended agistment.

10. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to reschedule the service.
